Year 10 History Blog Assignment 

What do I need to do? 
I need to:

• build a blog website using Blogger, Wix or Weebly
• make 4 blog posts and a research page
• each blog post must reflect the events of the 1965 Freedom Rides 
• each blog must have in-text references and an APA reference list at the bottom
• each blog post must include an image, interactive or video
• the research page must have your research dot points and the APA reference for each set of notes
• make comment on 2 blog posts as my character (80-100 words) 

What should I have on my research page?
I need to have:

• 5 separate sources with APA reference
• 10 dots points per source 
• dot points that are clear (short notes) 

What should I have on my blog? 
I need to have:

• 4 separate
• 200 words per blog 
• 1 image or 1 YouTube clip or 1 link 
• In-text references and relevant APA 

What type of comments do I need to leave on 2 friends blogs? 
I need to have:

• Comments that are in the perspective of my historical character
• 80 - 100 words 
• In-text references and relevant APA 

How will I submit this? 
I will:

• email the link to my teacher 
• email the link to the 2 comments I made
